Born and raised in Serbia, I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from University of Nis. Being entrepreneurial from an early age, I took over a family owned boutique where I mastered customer service skills and implemented new marketing and selling strategies. I realized early that I was going to outgrow my hometown and worked hard to make my dream come true to make the US my home. Chicago, as diverse as it is, welcomed me warmly and offered cultural and social opportunities that have met my aspirations. I reside in the Ravenswood neighborhood and I love it! When not working hard, you can find me on the tennis court fighting for each point passionately. Whether playing recreationally or competing in the local league, the tennis court has been one of the happiest places for me for the last 20 years. For a while I transferred my love for the game teaching different age groups at Northbrook Racquet Club. Spending quality time with friends and chatting with family via Skype instantly boost my energy level and put a big smile on my face. Beside tennis I enjoy everything outdoors, especially the lake, attending Chicago summer festivals, art events and exploring Chicago’s many neighborhoods.
