Let's face it. Most people don't grow up wanting to be a real estate agent. They go into it as a second career, side hustle, or backup plan. That was never me. I always knew I wanted to be in this field and have a passion for it that started very young.
It comes from growing up very poor and in a house that was in terrible condition. It was not livable by any standard and most people can't really imagine the condition to be honest. I always wanted to fix it up or move into a decent home but that never happened. I even used to get the real estate book from the convenience store across the street every week and look through it day dreaming about the homes for sale.
When I realized that I could help other people find a place they could be proud to call home when I grew up, I was hooked and I took the class as soon as I was old enough to enroll. Now I've been an agent for over 17 years and I still love it as much as I did at the beginning. That passion that started so young has only grown and it shows up in the way that I do business and work for my clients every day.
