Real estate isn’t just about houses and condos — it’s about community.
Before becoming an agent, I worked in local government management in Chicago’s southwestern and western suburbs, focusing on planning and community development, including zoning, building permits, and the policies that shape neighborhoods. That experience gives me a strong understanding of how communities grow, what impacts property values, and how to navigate the details that are often overlooked.
My path into real estate is also personal. When I bought my own home, it was an emotional and meaningful experience. Having a knowledgeable, steady agent by my side made all the difference, and it’s what inspired me to become that same calm, trusted presence for others.
Today, I call the West Loop/Fulton Market neighborhood home; however, I serve clients across Chicagoland, including the city and suburbs, helping buyers, sellers, and renters move forward with clarity and confidence.
Although I’m always available to my clients, in my free time you can usually find me training for my next marathon, catching a Broadway or off-Broadway show, or exploring some of Chicago’s best restaurants (I’m always happy to share recommendations)!
Fast, friendly and reliable. This are the three core things I noticed on JD, he was always attentive to my questions, he showed interest and he even did some follow ups once my lease was completed. For sure one of the top agents of Chicago!
Moving to a new city out of school is no small task, but working with J.D. has proven to be the best decision my roommates and I made in our home search. His constant support, attentiveness, and patience with everything we raised to him was transformational for our search. We are so glad to have had J.D. as our broker and would recommend his support to anyone moving to Chicago!
J.D. was great to work with! He was very responsive, which helped with getting showings scheduled promptly. He really cared about helping us find the right home for us.
