Born in Korea, Mr. Bright Jeon embarked on a journey that intertwined a passion for engineering, entrepreneurship, and a deep-seated love for community and family. His life’s trajectory brought him from his early days in Korea to the heart of the Midwest, where he has made a lasting impact in both business and personal spheres.
Growing up, Bright moved to Minneapolis as a child, where he completed his schooling. He furthered his education at the University of Wisconsin Madison, earning a degree in industrial engineering—a foundation that would later prove instrumental in his entrepreneurial pursuits.
Upon graduation, Bright ventured to the Chicagoland area, initially pursuing a career in engineering. Within a year, however, his entrepreneurial spirit propelled him to establish his own business. Alongside his ventures in real estate, Bright owns OLSHAw’s Interior Service, specializing in window treatments for office buildings and other commercial properties. Day to day activities of this business are run by his trusted managers. His clientele includes iconic Chicago landmarks such as the Sears Tower and the Hancock Building, testament to his expertise and influence in the commercial real estate sector.
In addition to his professional achievements, Bright takes immense pride in his family. His oldest child, a son, followed a path in medicine and now excels as a radiologist. His second oldest, a daughter, thrives in executive recruiting. His youngest son is currently pursuing his education at the University of Illinois Champaign. Bright’s wife plays a pivotal role managing his brother’s dental specialty office, underscoring the family’s close-knit dynamics and support for each other’s endeavors.
Beyond business and family, Bright finds joy and relaxation in sports. An avid participant in tennis, pickleball, and golf, he also has a profound passion for baseball, having played competitively in the Korean league until the age of 51. A die-hard Minnesota Vikings fan (Bears fans at least we can both dislike the Packers!) Bright also cheers for the Chicago Cubs, blending his Midwestern roots with his love for sports.
Bright’s foray into real estate was fueled by his desire to connect with people and contribute positively to their lives, a sentiment that drew him to Baird & Warner. He values the office’s positive and supportive atmosphere, which aligns with his commitment to exceptional client service. At Baird & Warner, Bright represents a diverse array of clients, including those in residential, commercial, and development sectors, leveraging his extensive experience and expertise to meet their diverse needs.
Since 1998, Bright has called Northbrook home, having previously lived in Niles and Chicago. His journey—from Korea to the heart of the Midwest—reflects not only his professional achievements but also his enduring dedication to family, community, and the pursuit of excellence in all endeavors.
